The Isle of Harris has some of the best salmon, sea trout and wild brown trout fishing in Europe

In addition Harris boasts miles of superb, clean sandy beaches and a marvellous variety of wild flowers particularly on the ‘machair’, the grassland near the sea. Otters and seals, eagles and oyster catchers abound; the Isle of Harris has enough wildlife to keep any non-fisher happy for days. There is also a nine hole golf course at Scarista, 3 miles from Leverburgh.
